I do people!!

Hi everyone! I've recently been branching out and trying something different. I've done a couple of commissioned portraits of PEOPLE!! A far cry from my usual animals or landscapes, that's for sure! But I'm pleased to say that they turned out very well and my customer was so happy with the first one, he asked me to paint his wife too. This is a pastel painting on pastelmat. People are much harder to do than I expected. I suppose it's because I'm very critical of myself and don't want to offend the person I'm painting.
